In, dogs are more than just your best friend. That is because they can become handy in survival. Before you start breeding dogs, you obviously need to start with a puppy; hence, you must find one first. But hey, it is pretty straightforward. Puppies tend to spawn in green resource zones, particularly those that you have yet visited.
Feeding And Raising Last Day On Earth Dogs Puppies are invincible, although they can be released out into the wild. Full grown dogs on the other hand can die, although they will eventually respawn back at your home base. The best places to find them are floppy disk locations and air drops. If you haven't seen my video on how to do.
To get one, just simply use the same icon that you would use in grabbing a resource. You will then see your best friend in your inventory with the name “Puppy in a Box.”Do not get excited, though – you will not be able to raise it right away. You need to reach level 10 first.
Do that and you will be able to unlock the Dog Crate. Now, this is where the fun of Last Day on Earth breed dogs begins. Here’s How to Build Last Day on Earth Base Like a ProImportant Things to Keep in MindBreeding are not rocket science. You can easily complete this with ease.
But first, you need to know some important things that will help you on this journey.Building the Dog Crate allows you to feed a dog using Dry Food, Raw Meat, and Raw Turkey. Doing so will allow your buddy to grow.Once your dog reaches adult age, its rank will show up (I, II, III, IV).
The growth, in particular, will start generating traits depending on its rank. Breeding is your best bet when trying to get good traits.Skill traits are basically buff that gives you a bonus. For instance, it will give you an increase in the chances of acquiring rate items. Breeding Dogs Like a ProYou are given the ability to breed two dogs; either it is same rank or male and female. This will be done through the Dog Crate, which, in turn, will produce a puppy. It is possible for you to get the same rank, though some cases will result in higher ranks.Remember that breeding dogs will result in losing both dogs (male and female), but this only means that you will be getting a higher or equal rank puppy.

The apocalypse can really be an awful, lonely place, and it does not help when people around you try to steal your resources or, worse, kill you. This is exactly where dogs can become faithful hounds in Last Day on Earth: Survival.
As long as you know the ins and outs of this game’s crossbreeding, it is easy to acquire killer skills for your dogs. They can give you buffs or even provide support when you are out there finding better items.
Finding a Puppy in Last Day on Earth: Survival
Before you can even start raising or breeding Last Day on Earth dogs, you obviously need to have a defenseless puppy first. This creature is easy to find. Just leave your home base and head straight to the Green Resource Zone, a place that guarantees a puppy spawn. Just explore the area until one shows up. They tend to surface within 30 seconds, but if you are unable to do so, just keep running around.
Keep in mind that you will not be able to raise a dog until you reach level 10, particularly when the Dog Crate blueprint shows up. Of course, you have the option to spend real money to buy the said blueprint (though reaching level 10 is a piece of cake).
Below are the resources you need to build the crate:
7 Duct Tapes
10 Scrap Metals
15 Limestone
20 Pine Logs
After you build the crate, you can start using the Puppy in a Box to begin raising a dog. Opening the box will give you a randomized gender and coloration. The rarity types of the dog are (from least to most) brown, backsides, black back, tiger, full black, and white.
Feeding And Raising Last Day On Earth Dogs
While it is true that puppies are invincible, they can still be released into the wild. As for full-grown dogs, they can die but you can expect them to respawn back at your home base.
In order for your puppy to reach adulthood – and eventually, start acquiring Traits – you need to feed it with Dry Food, Raw Meat, or Raw Turkey. Otherwise, your buddy’s growth meter will stop. After feeding it for at least 24 hours, you will eventually get a full-grown dog. Note that you make the feeding faster if you use in-game currency.
Keep in mind, too, that the number of hours of food given by each food type is divided by the number of puppies you own. Meaning, you need to search and grab tons of resources when you have a large kennel. This also means that you must keep feeding it after reaching adulthood or else it will go inactive.
